Future Sports Star

For Kailey's birthday this year, Aunt Meg and Uncle Scott gave Kailey a blow up t-ball set. At the time, Kailey was much more interested in hitting Heather with the plastic bat, so we deflated the set and waiting for summer where it could be stored outside (and away from other peoples' heads!). This past week Kailey got pretty excited about t-ball... this time using it the right way.
She is good at setting up the ball and swinging with both hands. You will also notice that she it batting left-handed. Since she seems to have a left-handed tendency, I showed her how to bat lefty first. She holds on with both hands just like she should and usually has a pretty even and strong swing. Since she is doing well left-handed, we haven't shown her right-handed yet. But, she watches us do it right handed and still stays with her left. So, she really may be getting more solid as a left-handed little kid.
You have to be 3 to sign up for t-ball. So, maybe next summer she'll play t-ball with Dane!
