Heather was still sick on Friday. No fever, just VERY tired and out of it. And, for a Friday, she had a pretty busy schedule planned. We had cupcakes ready to go to school to celebrate her birthday and she had a princess tea party at 1:00 with her friends from school. I think Bill and I were more disappointed that Heather wasn't feeling well than Heather was. Bill reported that Heather was fine with bringing cupcakes to school on a different day.
After talking with the princess tea party mom, it was determined that Heather should go, at least for a little while. Bill said Heather basically followed the other kids around and wasn't into it at all. Heather had a yucky cough that would just keep going and going. She made a princess crown, participated in a pretend tea party, came home and stared at the TV. Had a small dinner and went to bed.
All we could hope was that she was feeling better for her birthday.
