I have been saving up for this one...
As you can see from the pictures in this post, Heather has some unusual fashion sense. Most of these pictures have been taken in the last month. So, it's fall/winter, it's cold, it's wet, etc. Many of Heather's outfits are based around the need for warm weather: short sleeve shirts, sleeveless dresses, and sandals.
Since last spring, Heather has been TOTALLY into dresses. Not pretty pants, not cute skorts (the skirts with the shorts under them), but dresses. She almost always dresses herself and is very sure about what she is going to wear. Even if we pick out an outfit and put it together the night before, she will come down in something completely different, telling me 'I decided I didn't want to wear that". The only time I have control over what she wears is:
1) dance class (because there's an outfit she has to wear)
2) when all the clean clothes are in our bedroom and she needs help finding something
3) there are no clean clothes and we need to put an outfit together with what's clean
Moreover, once Heather has picked out an outfit, don't even bother trying to get her to change. (This saying comes to mind: Never try to teach a pig to sing. It wastes your time and annoys the pig.) So, once Heather has picked her outfit, it's pointless to suggest anything else.
2) People who have had 3-4 year old children.

I think she has GREAT fashion sense! Anyone who's had a toddler has gone through the independence thing, and I kinda like seeing what's in their head sometimes. Keep up the good work, Heather!!!
I'm sure Heidi Klum will be calling for her to appear on Project Runway!
