* When Heather was 1 year old, we spent part of our Christmas day in the ER with an ear infection.
* When Heather was 2, we had a very nice Christmas at home, thank you very much.
* When Heather was 3, we spend Christmas Eve in the ER because Heather and Kailey had fevers and were throwing up.
And now...
* When Heather was 4, we spent Christmas Eve at home because Heather was asleep all day from throwing up all night.
Last night at dinner, Aunt Meg very nicely pointed out that her favorite Christmas gift was her sister getting thrown up on for the duration of Christmas last year. Ha, ha. Wasn't that funny? Good thing it won't be the same this year.
Timeline:
10:30pm - Heather comes in to tell me her stomach hurt and it needed food. Told her to go back to bed.
12:30am - Heather comes in to our bedroom to tell us she.... splat.... splat. She feels better now, thanks.
1:30am - Repeat 12:30 in her bedroom
2:00am - Repeat 12:30 near the bathroom
2:30am - Repeat 12:30 in the bathroom
3:30am - Asked for a drink of water
5:00am - Bill goes to work
7:00am - Heather gets sick again
8:00am - ...and again
10:00am- spray Lysol through the whole of the upstairs to mask smell which is now a permanant part of the house until early Spring when we open windows.
And, the rest of the day she pretty much sleeps. Skip church since 6:00pm service comes and goes while Heather sleeps.
Coming up next:
Christmas, presents and a possible encore presentation by Kailey.

Do we need to send someone out to your house to chase away all of the bad germs and whatever else lurks? I hope you guys had a great Christmas in spite of all the illness. J~
