We just spent the last week in beautiful, sunny Southern California! I'll update over the next few days, if I can, and tell some tales of the trip. It was a great trip and only our second major family vacation with two kids (our other was to Boston almost two years ago to visit Uncle Dave. Kailey was 6 months old!).
We were privileged to see my friend Shannon get married to Ellis, a great guy! We took the kids to see the Pacific Ocean, went to Disneyland, and got to reconnect with an old college friend of mine, Kevin.
But, for now, this may be enough said. We arrived via the red-eye from Long Beach this morning at 5:20am with two kids who slept part of the flight back and two adults who didn't sleep. We all thankfully took naps later in the morning, but we're still trying to get back to 'real life'.
