A Morning with the Big Girls

This morning, Heather, Aunt Meg and I went out for what Meg has dubbed, "Toes and Clothes".
Heather has been great all week. She has been fun to be around, she has hardly whined or cried and has been great with Kailey. Meg and I wanted to go to Kohl's and then I figured out later this week that I wanted to get my toes done too. Since Heather has been so good, I decided it would a nice treat to take Heather to get her toes done too.

Heather was very excited to be with just the big girls; she thought it was pretty special that Kailey was staying home with Daddy and she got to go with Meg and I. When we arrived, Heather got to pick out her nail color. She did well with the first few that she picked. She said she wanted red, which was fine with me for toes. She did pick out a few VERY hot pink colors, but finally settled with a nice pink.

She got to sit on the big massage chair and put her toes in the little tub. When she moved all the way to the edge of the chair, she was able to get most of her feet in the tub.
While she waited, she looked quickly at a magazine, but quickly decided People Magazine wasn't her style. So, she sat back and relaxed. She got her nails trimmed, filed, buffed and shaped. She got her legs massaged and even got the warm towel wrapped around her legs.

Heather thought the scrubbing of her feet was pretty funny since it tickled the bottom of her toes.

After the polish was applied, the nail technician added one last top coat of sparkle. Heather was impressed :) What a princess!
We finished off the morning with a trip to Kohl's for a pretty necklace for Heather, sunglasses for me... and nothing for Aunt Meg :( Maybe she'll get something for the next "Toes and Clothes" event!
