Kailey was the only student at class this Saturday, so she ended up with a private lesson. Well worth the money! Again, the gym seems to do a really good job with little kids. Today we had a guy who pretty much let Kailey lead him to the next activity she could do. They did some running and then started the obstacle course which included rolling and jumping. He also showed Kailey how to hold up her hands when she had finished an activity. Ta da!
One of Kailey's biggest asset is her upper arm strength. The instructor figured this out and had her working on her arms: handstands, swinging on the bar, kicking a ball while holding on to the rings, sitting and swinging on a rope... she had a great time! He also said that Kailey was really doing very well for someone who wasn't even two. She was following directions and working well on all the equipment. Yeah, she's good, we know that. :)
On Sunday we went shopping with Heather. She used a gift card that her Daddy got her for Christmas. She picked out a really cute pair of PJs and then this outfit (which she put together herself): a pink heart shirt, a white skirt (without the shorts/pants under it... God forbid should it resemble pants!!!), polka dotted tights and black boots. (Click on the picture to make it bigger; she did a nice job with the outfit!) Ok, she's getting better with her fashion sense...

I really wish I would have been in gymnastics. I was in dance, but not for very long....if I could just be a kid again. Oh, and Heather does have some pretty good fashion sense. I need to take her shopping so she can help ME dress! J~
