I had mentioned the other day that Heather colored a nice picture when we were out to dinner. I made this photo a little bigger so you can see how well she colored inside the lines. (You can also click on it to see it better.) She has really gotten into coloring in the last few months and she is actually pretty good. Her fine motor skills have improved in the past year: she loves to cut and can cut on the lines very well.
She also went for her 4 year physical/check up this week. She was very unhappy to get 4 shots. Turns out she remains tall for her age (90th percentile) and she has caught up with weight (75th percentile). The doctor said he wasn't concerned about it since she has been anywhere between 15th and 50th percentile since she was born. Probably just the start of another growth spurt that will keep her in the 90th percentile for height.
